PTEa obtained planning permission for
this scheme which redevelops the site of
an existing hostel building. Our scheme
creates a terrace of nine three-storey
houses for affordable rent which terminates
at either end in taller four-storey apartment
blocks. One apartment block is dedicated
to supported housing, and the other block
contains 12 flats for shared ownership.
Timber cladding has been used to
complement the wooded setting,
and pitched roofs acknowledge the
surrounding suburban vernacular. Private
and communal gardens run along the
south side of the site, whilst vehicle access
and parking lies to the north.
