croft hall HASTINGs EAST SUSSEX TN34

Croft Hall was built as a school in 1898: it is a fine building with large windows and good detailing typical of its time, and it is located within a conservation area in a prominent position on a headland with spectacular views in all directions.

PTEa’s conversion of Croft Hall into fourteen flats has saved this landmark building from demolition. Existing windows are kept intact, creating double and triple height living spaces with views towards the sea, the old town and the South Downs, while mezzanine floors are set back from the windows to form bedroom decks.
