PTEa has extensive experience of conserving and transforming dilapidated and redundant structures, including numerous listed buildings. Its own base at Diespeker Wharf is an outstanding example.

The practice also set the pattern for the conversion of industrial buildings into new workspace and apartments with its careful restoration of New Concordia Wharf on the Thames, and the innovative conversion of the Courage Brewery site next to Tower Bridge. Both projects won European Conservation awards.
