This scheme demonstrates how London’s need for more homes can be achieved whilst providing proper family houses, and low-rise flats arranged in small intimate clusters. Our masterplan organises 36 family houses, each with its own rear garden and front door onto the street, together with 115 flats around communal gardens which open up towards the public park opposite.

The design and materials echo the ‘streamlined moderne’ of the inter-war suburbs which form the backdrop to the development, and also to the early aviation industry – a fitting reference for this site, which is close to the former Stag Lane airfield.
